Aging in place in Pleasant Run
Pleasant Run (ZIP 45240) is a Springfield Township community on the north side, with settled neighborhoods of mid-century and newer homes.
The layout question people miss is which side the door hinges. A carer needs to stand at the opening, not reach across the tub, and if the door hinges toward a wall or a fixture, that position does not exist. Most models are available in both hands, and choosing correctly costs nothing. Choosing wrongly is not fixable afterwards, which is why we work it out on the site visit rather than from a catalogue.

What Pleasant Run homeowners ask us
Considerably. Someone assisting needs to stand at the opening rather than reach across, and if the door hinges toward a wall that position does not exist. Most models come in both hands.
No, it is fixed when the tub is ordered. It is one of the decisions we settle on the site visit rather than from a brochure.
