A safer bath for a Fairfax household
Fairfax (ZIP 45227) is a small east-side village along Wooster Pike near Mariemont, with established early- and mid-1900s homes.
Marketing implies you walk straight in, and that is not quite true: every walk-in tub has a threshold, typically somewhere between three and seven inches depending on the model. That is far less than a tub wall, but it is not zero, and for someone with very limited mobility the difference between a three-inch and a six-inch step is decisive. We measure what the person can actually manage before choosing, rather than assuming any walk-in solves it.

Answers to your Fairfax questions
No, there is a threshold, typically three to seven inches depending on the model. Far less than a tub wall, but not zero, and the difference between three and six inches matters for some people.
They vary, and the lowest is not automatically best. It usually trades against water depth. We match it to what the person can actually step over.
