Aging in place in Dent
Dent (ZIP 45247) is a Green Township community on the west side, with established neighborhoods of mid-century and newer homes.
A detail most installations get wrong: where the fill control sits. Placed conventionally at the faucet end, you have to be inside and seated to start the water, which means sitting in an empty cold tub waiting. Placed so it can be reached from outside, or duplicated with a second control near the door, you can start the fill and step in as it warms. It costs almost nothing at rough-in and it changes the experience completely.

Questions about walk-in tubs in Dent
Only partly: the door has to be shut for it to hold water. But a control reachable from outside, or a second one near the door, means the water is running as you settle rather than after.
Within reach from the seat for temperature and drain, and where possible a fill control reachable near the door. Both decided at rough-in rather than afterwards.
