What a walk-in tub takes in Avondale
Avondale (ZIP 45229) sits in the uptown core near the major hospitals and the Cincinnati Zoo, with historic early-1900s homes and apartment buildings throughout.
A walk-in tub asks more of a supply line than any other fixture in the house: a large volume, quickly, while somebody sits waiting inside it. Century-old galvanized pipe has corroded inward to a fraction of its original bore, and on a line like that the fill time becomes genuinely unpleasant. Replacing the run serving the bathroom while the wall is open is inexpensive and it is the difference between a tub someone uses and one they avoid.

Questions we hear in Avondale
Not on corroded galvanized pipe. Since you sit inside while it fills, that wait matters more than with any other fixture, so we measure the flow before recommending a model.
Usually not. Replacing the run that serves the bathroom while the wall is open solves it, and we will say plainly if the rest genuinely needs doing.
