Walk-In Showers in North Bend, OH

North Bend (ZIP 45052) is a historic far-west village on the Ohio River, the burial place of President William Henry Harrison, with older homes set on low riverside ground.

Houses of this age have moved, and a bathroom floor that looks fine can be out by half an inch across its width. A shower base set on that will rock, stress its joints and eventually leak; a tiled pan will not hold its falls. So the substrate gets checked with a level and, where needed, brought true with a self-leveling compound before anything goes down. It is an unglamorous step that adds a few hours and prevents the most common cause of a base failing early.
