What a walk-in shower takes in Avondale
Avondale (ZIP 45229) sits in the uptown core near the major hospitals and the Cincinnati Zoo, with historic early-1900s homes and apartment buildings throughout.
Poor shower pressure in housing this old is usually not the fixture. Galvanized supply pipe corrodes inward over decades until the bore is a fraction of what it was, so a beautiful new valve gets fed by a pipe with the effective diameter of a straw. Replacing the run serving the bathroom while the wall is already open is inexpensive; discovering the problem after the tile is finished is not. We check the supply before specifying, not after.

Questions we hear in Avondale
Only if the supply pipe is the problem and gets replaced too. In houses this age the galvanized line has usually closed up with corrosion, and no showerhead compensates for that.
Usually not. Replacing the run that serves the bathroom while the wall is open solves the shower, and we will tell you plainly if the rest genuinely needs doing rather than selling you the bigger job.
