What a Western Hills tub and shower needs
Western Hills (ZIP 45211) is the established west-side area around Western Hills Plaza and Glenway Avenue, with neighborhoods of early-1900s through mid-century single-family homes.
Bathrooms of this era were lit by one fitting in the middle of the ceiling, positioned for someone standing at the basin. Lie in the tub and you are looking straight into it. Moving the fitting, adding a dimmable circuit, or putting a second wet-rated light over the tub end changes the room from functional to somewhere you would actually want to spend twenty minutes. Since the ceiling is usually open for the exhaust fan anyway, it is a small addition.

Answers to your Western Hills questions
Yes. Before the site visit, lie in the old tub for a minute and notice where the glare lands. A fixture over the tub must be rated for damp or wet locations, and putting it on its own dimmer, separate from the vanity light, lets you set each one independently.
Rarely. Usually the existing circuit takes it, and we will tell you plainly if yours is the exception.
