What a Florence tub and shower needs
Florence (ZIP 41042) is the largest city in Boone County and one of the fastest-growing in Northern Kentucky, with a wide mix of mid-century neighborhoods and newer subdivisions around the Florence Mall area.
There is a whole industry built on dropping an acrylic liner into an existing tub in a day. It is fast and cheap, and it leaves whatever was failing underneath exactly where it was, including water already sitting between the old tub and the new shell, which has nowhere to go and no way to dry. We take the old tub out, look at the substrate and the floor, and build back from something sound. It costs more and it is a different kind of work altogether.

Answers to your Florence questions

It takes longer, around four days against a liner's one, and that time is the point. The old tub comes out and everything behind the surface is inspected and built new for your bathroom rather than covered over. The exact schedule is in your quote.
