Tub Shower Combos in College Hill, Cincinnati, OH

College Hill (ZIP 45224) is a hilltop neighborhood on the northwest side along Hamilton Avenue, mixing large early-1900s homes with mid-century houses and a revitalizing business district.

In the bigger early-1900s houses the bathroom is often large enough that the tub does not have to sit in the obvious alcove, and moving the filler to the long side rather than the end changes how the room works. It frees the end wall, makes bathing a child from a kneeling position far easier, and stops the faucet being the thing you lean against. In the mid-century houses the alcove decides it, and the work is a precise fit into a fixed opening.
