Tub and shower combo in Burlington? A tub still has to leave legal clearance at the toilet. We install tub and shower combos there in around 4 days.
Burlington, KY · 41005
The best of both worlds in Burlington.
Burlington (ZIP 41005) is the Boone County seat, with a historic core around the old courthouse surrounded by fast-growing newer subdivisions.
People sketch a longer or wider tub and forget that the rest of the room has minimums. There is a required clear width around a toilet and a required clearance in front of it, and a door cannot swing into a fixture. Push a tub out by six inches and one of those can quietly fail, which an inspector will pick up even if you would not have. We draw the whole room to the clearances rather than the tub in isolation, so what we quote is what will actually pass.

Questions about tub shower combos in Burlington
Until the rest of the room stops meeting its clearances: the clear space around and in front of the toilet, and the door swing. We draw the whole room rather than just the tub.
On a permitted job, yes. It is one of the more common reasons work fails inspection, and it is entirely avoidable at design stage.
