Kitchen Remodels for Older Homes in West End, Cincinnati, OH

The West End (ZIP 45203) retains blocks of 19th-century housing alongside mid-century building, on ground that was substantially cleared through the last century.

In the surviving older housing the services are the story. A century of partial upgrades tends to leave a kitchen wall with several generations of wiring in it at once: some replaced, some abandoned in place, some still live and older than anyone expects. Establishing what is actually live and what merely looks disused is a first-fix job done properly rather than quickly, and it is the part of the work most worth not rushing.
