Updating a Newtown kitchen without losing the house
Newtown (ZIP 45244) is a small independent village on the east side near the Little Miami, with a village core, larger parcels and a more rural feel than the townships around it.
The older houses in and around the village core are genuine period properties, and some have been added to over generations in ways that were never documented. That makes the survey the important part: how additions were tied in, where services actually run, and what the original structure is doing. The village sets its own zoning and permitting, distinct from the surrounding township.
