Design Insight
Mid-century roots, modern muscle.
This kitchen blends clean-lined mid-century design with modern materials and functionality. Slab-front cabinetry and minimal detailing complement the home’s 1960s architecture, while matte black and brass accents introduce contrast and visual interest.
We incorporated the original leaded-glass window into the design, creating a natural focal point. Glass-front cabinets display the homeowners’ favorite pieces, while integrated appliance garages keep countertops clean and uncluttered. The custom-built arch over the bar area adds architectural character and defines a secondary focal point within the space.

What homeowners in Greater Cincinnati say about Bulldog Remodel Group
Oakley, Cincinnati, OH · Whole-Home Remodel
Kristen Vance
My name is Kristen Vance, and my husband, our son Louis, and I have lived in our home for 15 years. We fell in love with this 1950s home as soon as we saw it, but it definitely needed updating. Remodeling for the first time was a big decision, and Bulldog stood out from every other contractor we considered. Looking back, choosing them was one of the best decisions we made. What means the most to me is the trust they earned. They didn’t just remodel our kitchen or bathroom. They transformed our entire home. Every detail was completed with quality, and I have complete peace of mind knowing everything was built the right way. We love entertaining here because we’re so proud of the finished result. Quality is worth investing in, and Bulldog proves that you truly get what you pay for. It was an amazing experience, and I’d happily do it all over again.
“I highly recommend Bulldog Remodel Group. Their customer service is outstanding, they are on time, on budget, and take extra time to explain all of the details before and while the project is underway. They completely remodeled our kitchen, removed walls, and added windows. We could not be happier with the results and the entire experience.”
