Custom Homes in Mount Airy, Cincinnati, OH

Mount Airy (ZIP 45239) occupies high ground on the north-west side around Mount Airy Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the country, with wooded parcels and rolling terrain through much of the neighborhood.

Heavily treed ground changes a build in ways that are easy to underestimate. Root zones limit where you can excavate and stage, clearing is a real line item, and access for equipment through a wooded parcel needs planning rather than assuming. The trees are also the reason to be here, so the productive approach is to survey what is worth keeping and site the house around it, a design decision that is straightforward early and impossible to reverse once the clearing is done.
